Aim and description

The workshop seeks to gather together scientists working in the field of Nonlinear Analysis, with special emphasis on fixed point iterative methods and their applications. The organizers hope that the workshop will highlight the most recent advances in the current research directions of this area and will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and new results.

This edition is organized in the memory of Professor Stefan Mărușter (September 1937 – December 2017) who was one of the initiators of the IAFP workshop.

Topics

Proposed list of topics, not limited to:

  • Iterative algorithms for approximating fixed points of various
    contractive type operators
  • Convergence and stability of fixed point iterative algorithms
  • Stability properties of the fixed point problem
  • Applications of fixed point theory

Paper Submission

Papers (up to 8 pages in the two-column format) or extended abstracts (up to 2 pages) must be electronically submitted using the submission system accessible setup on EasyChair.

Publication

The papers accepted for presentation will be included in a locally edited proceedings (electronic version on a memory stick). Extended versions of the accepted and presented papers can be submitted for publication in the Mathematics and Computer Science Annals of the West University of Timisoara
