in the framework of

SYNASC 2021
23rd International Symposium on Symbolic and Numeric Algorithms for Scientific Computing

Timisoara, Romania
7-10 December, 2021

Workshop deadlines

  • 31 August 2021: Paper submission (extended deadline)
  • 30 September 2021: Notification of acceptance
  • 15 October 2021: Registration
  • 15 October 2021: Revised papers according to the reviews
  • 7-10 December 2021: Workshop

Workshop Co-Chairs

+ Vasile Berinde, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Technical Univ. of Cluj-Napoca, North University Center at Baia Mare, Romania
+ Adrian Petrușel, Department of Mathematics, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania
+ Ioan A Rus, Department of Mathematics, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Aim

The workshop seeks to gather together scientists working in the field of Nonlinear Analysis, with special emphasis on iterative methods and algorithms in Fixed Point Theory. We hope that it will highlight the most recent advances in various branches of this area and will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and new results.

Topics

Proposed list of topics, not limited to:
+ Fixed point theory for various classes of contractive type operators.
+ Convergence and stability of fixed point iterative algorithms
+ Stability properties of the fixed point problem
+ Applications of fixed point theory

Paper Submission

Papers (up to 8 pages in the two-column format) or extended abstracts (up to 2 pages) must be electronically submitted using the submission system accessible setup on EasyChair.

Publication

The papers accepted for presentation will be included in a locally edited proceedings (electronic version on a memory stick).

Extended versions of the papers accepted and presented at the workshop will be considering to be published as a special issue in the Mathematics and Computer Science Annals of the West University of Timisoara or SCPE – Scalable Computing: Practice and Experience (indexed by SCOPUS).

Other possibilities for publication will be formulated soon after the workshop.
