SYNASC 2025

27th International Symposium on Symbolic and Numeric Algorithms for Scientific Computing

September 22-25, Timișoara, România

IAFP – Workshop on Iterative algorithms for approximating fixed points of various contractive type operators

AIM

The workshop seeks to gather together scientists working in the field of Nonlinear and Variational Analysis and Optimization Theory, with special emphasis on fixed point iterative methods and their applications. The organizers hope that the workshop will highlight the most recent advances in the current research directions of this area and will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and new results between researchers, young scientists and Ph.D. students.

TOPICS

  • Iterative algorithms for approximating fixed points of various nonlinear operators
  • Convergence and stability of fixed point iterative algorithms
  • Stability properties of the fixed point problem
  • Applications of fixed point theory
  • Optimization techniques and variational analysis
