The city and the surrounding region have an unique history in Romania, being over the centuries an object of dispute for several states (Roman, Hungarian, Ottoman, Austrian), which left their still visible marks, and, above all, a very multicultural society which constitutes a beautiful example of harmony in Romania and in the Balkans (30 Km from Serbia). The price from the airport to the West University or the nearby hotels is around 10 &#8211; 15 euro.<\/li><li>From the railway station by tram: You can use tram 1 from the station (\u201cGara Timi\u0219oara Nord\u201d) to the Continental Hotel (\u201cHotel Continental\u201d). Then you can walk 10 minutes to the ICAM-UVT.
