in the framework of<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n SYNASC 2021 Timisoara, Romania *** SYNASC 2021 will be organized as an online conference ***<\/p>\n\n\n\n Workshop deadlines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Scientific Chairs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n + Mihail Gaianu, West University of Timi\u0219oara, Romania Workshop description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Within the framework of the 23rd International Symposium on Symbolic and Numeric Algorithms for Scientific Computing (synasc.ro<\/a>) held during 7-10 December 2021, Timisoara, Romania we invite the researchers and practitioners to present and discuss advances in the research and development of intelligent systems for complex image processing and interpretation, based on efficient feature selection in the field of diagnosis, monitoring and control. Hence, the goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers, engineers, medical specialists and users in different domains which are engaged in solving their problems by the aid of intelligent image processing algorithms and with interest in novel methods, techniques and algorithms for intelligent image processing proposed to solve difficult problems in the mentioned field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Topics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n + Criteria for feature selection Paper submission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We invite submissions in the form of: Papers of up to 8 pages (in CPS Conference Style<\/a>) should be electronically submitted through Easy Chair<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Research papers must contain original research results not submitted and not published elsewhere. Authors which want to present work in progress or discuss new aspects or a survey of their older research results at the workshop are welcome to submit an extended abstract (up to 4 pages).
