The purpose of this workshop is to present and discuss the\nstate-of-the-art in implementing Big Data technologies in different domains,\nsuch as environment, cultural heritage etc. The contributions should focus on\napplications or technologies related to Big Data. Furthermore, during the\nworkshop the participants will have the opportunity to discuss and share the\nlatest research results applied to scientific and technical problems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Topics<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specific topics for this workshop include, but\nare not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>+ Big Data Applications (real-life case\nstudies, trust in Big Data, etc.) <br>\n+ Big Data techniques (analytics, scalability, acquisition, visualisation,\ngraph mining, software systems etc) <br>\n+ Big Data infrastructure (Cloud, Edge, streaming, HPC, autonomic, energy-efficiency,\naccelerators usage, programming models, computation in memory etc)<br>\n<br>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Paper submission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite submissions of up to 8 pages\n(in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\">CPS Conference Style<\/a>) which must contain\noriginal research results not submitted and not published elsewhere. The\nsubmitted papers will be refereed and accepted on the basis of their scientific\nmerit and relevance to the Workshop topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The papers should be electronically submitted\nthrough&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=synasc2020\">EasyChair<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Publication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The papers accepted for presentation will be included in a\nlocally edited proceedings (electronic version on a memory stick).
